How To Make A Snowman Clippie

Supplies Needed:
- Glue Gun
- 1 piece 7/8" black grosgrain ribbon cut to 1" long
- 1 piece 3/8" red grosgrain ribbon cut to 1" long
- 1 piece 1/4" black grosgrain ribbon cut to 1.25" long
- 3 pieces 3/8" white grosgrain ribbon cut one piece each 4.5", 6" and 15" long
- 1 piece 3/8" printed red grosgrain ribbon cut to 6" long (cut the ends into mini strips or fringe the end to look like a scarf)
- 1.75" long standard single or double prong alligator clip
Glue the 1.25" piece of 1/4" grosgrain ribbon on top of the 3/8" grosgrain ribbon to complete the hat.
Now take the 6" piece of white grosgrain ribbon and make a small pencil mark 2.5" from one edge.
Place a dot of glue on the end of the ribbon closest to the 2.5" mark and loop it around gluing it to the where you made the mark.
Place a dot of glue top of where you just glued the first length of ribbon and place a dot of glue on top. Loop the second half of the ribbon around and glue it to the glue dot you just made. This is the head piece of the snowman.
On the 15" piece of 3/8" white grosgrain ribbon make a pencil mark at 4" and 9".
Place a dot of glue on the end closest to the 4" mark and and loop it around gluing it on top of the 4" long pencil mark.
Place a dot of glue on top and loop the second piece around gluing the 9" mark down. Finally loop the third segment of the ribbon around to complete the body of the snowman.
Glue to the head piece and the body piece together.
Glue the hat to the snowman's head.
Glue the scarf to the snowman's neck wrapping around the snowman to the front.
Glue a lined alligator clip to the back of the snowman. Use the back of the scarf as a gluing surface to adhere it to the alligator clip. If you need instructions to line the alligator clip click here.
